Allegheny Airport Authority Credit Rating Affirmed
Back in July, Standard & Poor's gave both Allegheny County Airport Authority's Pittsburgh International and US Airways a BBB rating on outstanding debt. According to AAAE's News, that rating was affirmed as to Pittsburgh following the airline's decision to abandon the Pittsburgh hub. A bright spot for the Authority: this report suggests low-fare carriers are taking a second look at the formerly US-Airways-dominated market.
